We acknowledge that the Church of St. Stephen and St. Bede is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, and Dakota Nations, and the homeland of the Metis Nation, and that we gather on Treaty 1 land. We are grateful for their stewardship of this land and their hospitality, which allows us to live, work, and serve God the Creator here.
ABOUT US
OUR COUNCIL
The Church of St. Stephen and St. Bede elects a small Council at its annual meeting each year. Together,  Council members make decisions on the governance and life of the Church. At its meetings, the Council members and the Pastor discuss various topics such as finances, fundraising, mission and outreach activities, and coming events.

The Council includes the Pastor's Warden, appointed by the Pastor each year; the People's Warden, elected at the annual meeting each year; and the Deputy Warden, elected at the annual meeting.

The Council meets regularly the third Tuesday of the month except in summer.
