We acknowledge that the Church of St. Stephen and St. Bede is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, and Dakota Nations, and the homeland of the Metis Nation, and that we gather on Treaty 1 land. We are grateful for their stewardship of this land and their hospitality, which allows us to live, work, and serve God the Creator here.
St. Stephen and St. Bede hosts regular worship services Sunday mornings at 11:15 am. and Wednesdays at 10:00 am.
At the main service of Communion on Sunday, Worship Assistants help the Pastor lead the modern liturgy that combines the best of Anglican and Lutheran liturgy. The blended liturgy, projected on Powerpoint slides through most of the year, is enhanced by a team of choristers and leadership of Loaves and Fishes, a contemporary praise band.
Contemporary Worship is led by the worship team called Loaves and Fishes (pictured). The name is taken from Mark 8: 5-9, where it is written that Jesus saw the crowd and took seven loaves and a few small fishes to feed four thousand hungry people.  They ate and were satisfied with much left over.
So, too, our group sings to nourish those longing for spiritual strength.  The latest of Christian praise music is added to contemporary liturgical melodies for an upbeat, meaningful service. Traditional hymns, too, are revitalized using keyboard, guitars, drum and new harmonies.  The group practices every Saturday afternoon from 2:30-4:00.
Worship led by Loaves and Fishes occurs bimonthly.  Dates are publicized in the bulletin, sign board and the media. Pre-Service music and centering meditation begins at 10:50 a.m. This joyous, uplifting service is a gift to all who participate.
